Our Lord and our God and Heavenly Father we thank you for your Son the Lord Jesus Christ, our Saviour, who has made prayer to a holy God possible through his name.  Our Father we do pray for all the prayer requests on this board for you know all those who are involved and we pray especially for those who have lost loved ones.  Some of our prayers our Lord and our God are unspoken but you hear them all and so graciously answer so many of them.

We pray for the persecuted Church worldwide you see the terrible suffering at the hands of their persecutors because they dare to name the name of Christ and follow him.  O may they be aware of your wonderful presence with that certain unshakeable knowledge and firm belief that you will never leave them nor forsake them in their most terrible times.

We pray for all who look ast this Board that you would graciously lead them to the Saviour our only hope in this world and the next.

We pray for ourselves that you will lead us not into temptation but that you would keep us from evil and sin.  Melt our hearts our gracious Lord to love you more and to obey you more and acknowledge you in all our ways. 

We know and believe that you can and do break down every strong hold of addiction of all sorts and  set the captive free.  You name is higher than any other name your name is Lord.

We ask all these prayers with all supplication and thanks giving through the wonderful name of our Lord Jesus Christ Amen.

UPDATE on Pastor Chuck:   Last night he told us that he hasn't had any chemo or radiation for 4 weeks, and then last week they did some tests to see what that had done for his condition.  He hasn't gotten the results back yet, as of last night.  He said, "Maybe I'll need more chemo and radiation, maybe not, but it doesn't matter because the Lord knows, and I am in His hands.  I'm still feeling great and energetic and feel blessed."

Quick update onn my hubby's medical tests - The EEG, originally scheduled for August has been re-scheduled for May.  And we just got a phone call that the memory test, originally scheduled for July, has been re-wscheduled for this Thursday.  All of this is great since hubby will lose his medical insurance as of June 19.

Diane -- I'm so glad that your husband will be getting the tests while his insurance is valid.

While my cousin was here, we went to the Calvary Bookstore. She said she had attended Calvary, Costa Mesa.

Our company left at 8:00 a.m. We had a great time together. We visited the Brass Armadillo; both my cousin and I found some treasures to purchase.
