Lynn -- Prayers for the check to arrive SOON! Prayers as you get things packed and ready.
Thank you for the information about your Mom.

PRAYER REQUEST:
Please pray for our children, many are grown and have children of their own.
Pray for their faith to endure the trials and the firey darts of the evil one.
Some children raised in a Christian home are rebelling and turning away from God. They may want to live like the unbelievers, but they do not always see the complete or resulting picture.
There is a principle of sowing and reaping. If we plant corn, we will get corn.
If we plant to the wind, we will reap a WHIRL-WIND!

Luke 4:18
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Carole dear, so happy when you come on here! Pastor Chuck is a trooper because he relies totally on the grace of God in everything. :^O Back-up... Calvary Chapel is a "body" of believers, all doing their part. 🙂 Prayers for our children and for neighbor Nancy.
Lynnie, things will all work out in God's timing for you. He knows the bigger picture and He is crazy about you!
I just heard something I liked...
"Every problem has it's purpose."

Jan - Pretty gif!
I was feeling a little icky today and skipped PT. We have the two boys overnight, then we get Alli tomorrow. Melanie needs Ike's plow truck to haul wood and Ike needs to go to the
hardware by her house to get pellets for the stove.
Time for bed.
Goodnight & sweet dreams to us all.

My 99 year old mom was taken to the hospital yesterday in a very weak condition. She had trouble even standing up. My brother will be there today so he'll have an update. It sounds like she's doing OK, however, at 99... We started planning her 100th birthday so between this and Christmas, perhaps just too much.
Prays for her recovery if that is God's will or a peaceful crossing over and arrival in Heaven, it's in His hands..
I started to post this prayer request hours ago and then the phone started ringing. No further updates so no news is good news!

Sally -- Prayers for your Mom. How amazing that she is 99!

Can anyone give me an update on Pastor Chuck as I could not get the link to work.
1. What medical steps is he going to take?
2. Is there someone in the leadership team that will step up to the plate for Pastor Chuck as his time / perhaps strength will be limited?

Hi, Everyone. Hubby did go back to work on Thursday, but now he and oldest son both have the stomach bug that I had. Hubby was sent home from work yesterday. He's feeling better so we're going grocery shopping momentarily. BBL.

Lynnie, so glad you enjoyed that wonderful, fun interview! LOL about sinking the surfboard now!!
Kathy, so great to see you and hear the updates! Love you so much!!
Sally, I'll be praying for your dear lil' mom!
Carole, Pastor Chuck is in God's hands and there is absolutely no need for you to worry about Him. Trust God. Pastor Chuck does and so should you. When I know the details that he would want shared, I'll let you know those.
I went to see my sweet Marj today, and she and her family and I all went to lunch and had such a great time!!!!! Then we went to the container store and had fun there! 🙂

Sally - Praying for your mom for God's will. 99! That is really something.
Diane - You are sharing way too much with your family!
Carole - Hope everything is going okay with you.
Roxie - I have always liked Greg Laurie and it was so good of him to do such a special program with Pastor Chuck, as he was responsible for the modern church that is available today and has encouraged so many younger people to come to church. I like the old hymns, but in the Lutheran church, so many seemed like dirges rather than worship songs.
Gotta post the one from the video, as it is one of my favorites!

Time for some TV and bed.
Goodnight & sweet dreams to us all.

Lynnie, ya, great about the interview! Greg wanted to do it before he knew about the lung cancer, then Chuck had to tell him he couldn't do it, so they just moved it up a week. Those two are so fun and in love with the Lord!! Chuck loves the hymns too, but realizes the value of God putting new songs on people's hearts. Wish I had time to listen to the video... maybe in the morning before I head on out to work.
