Good morning everyone!
Jan - Keeping your family in prayer. I believe God called him home to be wih his wife. Now he has no more pain and is happy again.
Glad to hear Hugh is improving!:-)
I have had a couple of special blessings. First, I was able to sell my autoharp that I really never used for $250. As I found it for $35, it was an excellent transaction. I just got it packed and will take it to the post office later today.
Secondly, Melanie asked me if I had this coupon from a local store that was $3.00 off every 10 cans of any type of their canned tomatoes, beans, tomato juice or tomato or chicken noodle soup. We both needed tomatoes, lots of them. They were on sale before the coupon, so in the end, beans & tomatoes (she needed a lot of beans) were 39 cents/can and soup was 19 cents/can. It said right on the coupon that you could only use one per visit but Melanie went to school with the guy that owns the store and said we could use as many as we wanted, so I scanned and printed as many as we needed. We are both stocked up for the winter!
It is a beautiful day here.
Have a great day!

Carrie- May God, Our Father, wrap his arms around you and your baby. May your fears disappear as you know God is in control. Please visit again after your fifth bundle of joy joins your family. Jan
Lynn, what you were telling about the food reminded me of my Mama. She loved the grocery store. She kept enough food on hand to feed the community. When we were younger we never knew if Mama would be feeding 3 or 9. She came from a poor family of 13. She kept one closet stacked neatly with blankets and quilts. I asked her why. She said the electricity might go out and people might be cold. She was such a wonderful caregiver to everyone. Always putting herself last.
God's blessings to all.

Jan - Melanie and I were talking about this food thing earlier today. I have always had lots of food in stock because we had all the neighborhood kids at our house. That way, I knew where mine were.:-) One of her old friends who I half raised was telling her how jealous they all were because we had our own grocery store!:^O She was telling her how they loved the wall of cereal. Melanie said she did not remember a wall of cereal but her friend reminded her that I bought it by the caseload and that there really was a wall of cereal!

Thank you. I'm sitting here now with Jacob(19months) we're watching his cartoons and I'm munching on some pizza bites. Everyone else is at school.
Tommorow is the day for induction, thank you for your prayers. I really need them and I need to calm down.
I've been praying God's will is done and if this induction isn't a good thing that He will stop it.
This pregnancy was a suprise to me and I don't think I've gotten used to the idea yet, although I've been preparing for the baby.

Dear and Precious PRT'ers!
God is awesome!
"Eternity is a long time to be wrong about God."
I saw the above message on a church billboard as we were driving by.
DH-Bill and I came back from vacation yesterday. What a blessing to be in COOL Colorado!
We passed through Ouray with snow-topped mountains, green trees, and various trees changing colors for the fall season. Beautiful!!
In Western Colorado, we visited with Bill's sister and brother-in-law; and visited with friends throughout twelve years of ministry.
What a huge blessing! Friends included those in the ministry, teachers, missionaries, and various occupations.
There also were needs. Those with illness (cancer) and various other afflictions. Some with the heartbreak of split families -- homes torn apart by the evil one.
Two people, who came from Christian homes, regular church attenders, ended up in jail because of disobeying the laws of God and man.
Our hearts are filled with joy and yet prayerful about those with health, family, and wrong decision issues.
Religiosity and good families are NOT where it is at.
To fight the evil one, a personal relationship is necessary --
(1) believing in God's Son, Jesus;
(2) asking forgiveness of wrongdoing and changing with Jesus' help;
(3) asking God's Holy Spirit to indwell in your heart;
(4) communicating one-on-one with Jesus in prayer and then listening by reading the Bible.
Romans 10:17
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Carole- Glad to see you back. I am so glad you and Bill had a good trip and got to visit with friends and family.
Lynn- I hope you aren't in pain. They took about 170 staples out of Hugh's knees. He is doing well. With our BCBS he is now at the stage that each day is only $25. I want him to stay as long as he needs.
Carrie- I am praying for you and sweet baby. May you find comfort in God's grace. Please post and let us know how things went when you get home.

Good afternoon everyone!
Carrie - Praying for you and the precious new life created in you!
Our property is covered with these weird looking mushrooms. Clumps can get up to 50# each!!! We are pretty sure, but are checking to see if the are hen-of-the-woods, which are supposed to be delicious. The squirrels sure love them. If they are, we will be getting some put away as are morel supply is dwindling!
Have a beautiful day!

lynn- It seems we are all alone this morning on PRT. God, thank you for being with us. Thanks for answering my email. Have you heard from Roy lately? I have gotten some generic emails- no personal ones.I am concerned. They are having my brother in law's memorial service on Saturday.Please pray for Beth, Lori and their families. Larry's brother has lost all in his family in the last 3 months.His sister recently died. We are not promised even a second so we must all be ready to face our Lord with our lives-bad and good.
Carrie- You and precious baby are in my thoughts and prayers.

Boo-hoo-hoo! My mushrooms turned out to have gills and are poisonous.:_| Welll, the squirrels love them.
Jan - I called Roy last week and he did not answer or call me back. I figure if he wants to talk to me, he will call. Maybe he is not feeling well or is busy.
I ordered enough Rx's to get me into the beginning of next year and managed to just stay under the coverage gap. I also talked to the man at Pfizer and it looks as though they will be providing me with Lipitor and Lyrica. Yea!!!!!!
After paying the bills, co-pays and whathaveyou, I have $35 for gas, groceries and whatever. Ack! I sure hope I get approved for heating assistance.
