Good morning, Everyone.  Just an update:  This itch is driving me crazy, especially now that my lips are itching!  As far as medication goes, I'm allergic to Benadryhl (last time I took it, I had chest pains).  Yesterday afternoon, I went to the Family Medicine clinic run by our hospiutal.  I am now on Prednisone, Hydroxyzene Pamoate, Hydrocortisone Cream USP, 2.5 %. and an over the counter antihistamine. 

Prayers for all of those in need!

Diane, I'll keep praying for you. I know this kind of thing is hard to deal with. what about a cold pack? Sometimes cold will numb things down some and give some relief. Just an idea.

Good morning.  I'm feeling better today so the medicine is working.  I've decided to stop using the over the counter antihistamine as I don't want to overmedicate myself for the itching. 

Mayjune, I had hubby make up a cold pack for me.  It turned me into a human icecube (shaking and chills).  My doctor did say I can only take cool/cold showers, not the regular warm/hot ones.  I was also told I may run a low-grade fever but not to get worried.

Friday I had Laser surgery for my glaucoma. Very happy about it! I'm feeling SO MUCH BETTER off the eye med that was giving me horrible side effects for so long! 🙂

I'm feeling better but still have some itching. 

I have another strange prayer request.  Yesterday, the area of southern New Jersey where I live had over 5 inches of rain.  It was terrible.  Hubby and I were at our church's couples club picnic/pool party when it happened.   We had water in our basement which youngest son pumped out.  The worst thing is that our livingroom ceiling caved in this morning (NOT the roof, thank God!). Hubby is in the process of cleaning it up.
