Quote Audrey, I'm with you about staying home on New Year's Eve. I had the privilege of spending it with a dear client, and we watched a most wonderful Christian movie and laughed and cried together, then went to bed with Him on our minds.

Our heavenly father we thank you for Roxie and the work she does with elderly clients. We believe that you planted her there gracious Lord to comfort the sick, to speak of the Lord, to pray and to love. May she ever be a blessing to whoever she looks after and may they in turn realise that that something different in her life is the Lord Jesus Christ her wonderful Saviour.

We thank you for the prayers answered on Lyn`s behalf for the improvement in her foot. O Lord if it could please you would you heal it completely and enable Lyn financially, not only to meet the bill but with something left over.

We would remember Dianne`s situation before you. Lord it is so hard to lose one`s home and we do pray our Lord that you would bring her right through this and even more that you would cause even this to work for her good. We believe and know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Yes Lord even this. May her Church aid and comfort her, encourage and support Dianne and her family for we ask this prayer in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ Amen

Just got back from dinner at Melanie & Bob's. We played cards for awhile.

I convinced Ike that we should not go down to visitation tomorrow, but rather go Monday morning where they will have an hour of visitation at the church, the service, followed by a lunch where everyone can get together. Melanie & Bob are also going. I will be there in my attractive fuzzy slippers.

It is beautiful here. Sunny but cold. Thank God, no snow.

They're are saying we were going to get snow or ice on Monday. Please pray it will warm up just enough so we'll have rain instead and no flooding. Thanks.
