Received a visit from my Dad today out of the blue.  He usually has my Mom set up visits.  Every time he does that it's bitter-sweet; reminds me of all the times he was gone a year at a time.  Then again I am so greatful that he is here today to just pop in and ask about the DGSs and DGD.  Many never get the chance to try to make up for all the sacrifices their families make with a military career. Feeling grateful.
