I see from my postings of yesterday that I have gone too far, I wish to categorically state that I have no reason to think that Art goes onto forums and pretends to be female. Ermmm... Apart from this one when he pretends to be Samantha. So, apart from that, no reason at all. Ermmm... And of course when he pretends to be Samantha's mum. So apart from those two isolated female personas, No reason at all to think any thing of the sort. I withdraw all remarks of that sort. and apologize to the other members of the group who have ben submitted to my wilder excesses. To Jim, and or everyone else. I am confused. Cpe1991 says that Gevork6 has been suspended and Samantha and her mother as well. Who made that decision? I am particularly disturbed by the alleged suspension of Samantha and her mother. As a lawyer for over 50 years I have been trained to believe that one is innocent until PROVEN guilty. I can understand the possible suspension of gevork6, although it takes TWO to make a fight. Asto Samantha, and her mother, I have reread their postings and find nothing offensive in them. As to the allegation that they may be figments of Gevorks imagination. That is an allegation and is not a proven fact. I do not know if they exist. However, I also do not know that they do not exist. There are accusations and perhaps even circumstantial evidence, but no hard proof of their being fake people. Absent proof it would appear as to them, there has been a rush to judgment that is unjustified. Unless whoever decided to suspend or delist Samantha and her mother can offer some proof of their nonexistance or tell me exactly what they (not Gevork) wrote that was offensive, I think they should be immediately reinstated. Floyd As a lawyer, you should know that it is a logical impossibility to prove the non-existence of anything. It is taught in elementary logic classes that it is impossible to prove a negative. Accordingly, we could never offer proof of the non-existence of Samantha or her mother MaryM. The decision to suspend gevork and ban araik and MaryM was made by the Leader of the group and two moderators, which is in their power, and was based on behaviour and on circumstantial evidence, which as you should know as a lawyer is legally acceptable, especially in civil law, which is based on the balance of probabilities. Hi, Floyd, You are on the wrong end of this one. Trust me, what ever Art has emailed you and said is incorrect. I know we haven't always seen eye to eye, but I wouldn't put you wrong on a con trick. Floyd, and anyone else in the unlikely event that they have any more interest in the proceedings. There were a series of inconsistencies in the postings of Samantha and MaryM, some of which were pointed out by computojon. The postings were too contrived, and served as a platform to praise gevork6. Here are the most important circumstantial clues why it is likely that gevork6 was using Samantha and her mother MaryM as aliases. 1. Samantha's ebay name is Araik, which is an Armenian male forename, and gevork6 is Armenian. 2. MaryM claimed to have reactivated an old ebay account, but it was a brand new one. 3. gevork6 replied to candylab in the Staunton thread, but this was immediately preceded by mistake by a reply to Candylab in the name of Samantha, the text of which was deleted and replaced by a smiley. Candylab realised that gevork6 had forgotten he was logged in as Araik-Samantha and made an appropriate reply. 4. The logging in times of MaryM and Samantha were listed under "Members", and were in frame with gevork6 logging out and logging in again. 5. The last example of 4 occurred when gevork6 was suspended. His last posting was at 00.55 am US time on Jun 15. He was suspended at 01.03 am, and so was unable to log in again. Within 5 minutes MaryM had logged in, she was then removed, and shortly after Samantha-Araik logged in. The chances of Samantha's mother logging at that time of the morning, would be incredible. It is pretty obvious that gevork6 must have been trying to log in via an alias. Then, MaryM and Samantha made several further attempts. Why on earth would Samantha's supposed mother be so keen on logging in to our group at unearthly hours? Many of these points have been listed earlier. If they do not add up to an overwhelming balance of probability, then I do not know what more can be said. Alan

Whilst I would not suggest for a moment that Art is a self obsessed pathological liar, particularly as he is not here to defend himself. I did once have the unfortunate and dubious 'pleasure' of working with one. They will do anything to 'prove that what they are saying is 'true' with promises of incontrovertible 'evidence' (which rarely materializes) even to the extent of persuading other unconnected people to become involved. They, (the PL's) effectively run from base to base making up ever more convoluted excuses for their inability to back up their statements. All Ace had to do was quickly snap some pics of the two prize John Co sets and the rest , in boxes if necessary, a matter of a few mins. work. But he can't because they don't exist. It was a hoax, completely fabricated to draw attention to himself and make fun of us lesser (as he sees it) mortals.

Hi, Everyone, I hope you all like my new avatar picture, (left) It is a picture of me as a child, I didn't think there were any, when I was born my mother took one look at me and fainted dead away, upon recovering she flatly refused to breast feed me (understandably) and immediately put me up for adoption. I would like to thank the person who found it.
