Hi, Ace, you are right, I do not want to reconcile. I am as smart as I say I am. my remarks are well beyond the pail. If I were you I wouldn't put up with it. (I should say, up with it I would not put) libel is one thing, a split infinitive is a much more serious matter.

I've always wondered what that ignore button was for. What does it do? Can you do it to a whole thread? Can you do it to a topic? Can you do it to stuff with which you are bored? Are there other options for which you can use the ignore button?

You have had to admonish gevork6 several times for his flaming of the CCI auction and in particular his rudeness about your amber set. In light of his past history of abusing others, current interfering with non-chat threads, his continuing to post after requests to stop this barrage, and in a final effort to calm things down here as they are getting nasty, the moderators have decided to suspend gevork6 for 7 days, pending a final decision on whether his membership should continue. That is precisely what was asked of you in posting 612 >If it is not a joke, then you don't realise how seriously some of us view this matter. Regular members of CC have e-mailed inexperienced sellers who have put valuable sets sale on ebay to tell them what their sets are worth as they think it is a moral imperative to help and not exploit newcomers. Frankly, if you are going to use information sent to this group to act as a predator, then perhaps you should not be a member. Otherwise, how can we be trusted to offer advice?

Jim It is time to put a final stop on this. Five minutes after gevork6 was suspended at 2 am US time, and he was no longer able to log in, "Samantha's mother" logged in! She has been removed from the group, as has Samantha (Araik) for obvious reasons. Let's get back to discussing chess. Alan
