I am unable to stay signed in

This has happened to me in the past and what has worked for me is clearing by browsers cookies etc and signing in again.

Try clearing cookies as the previous poster suggested. Then sign back in to eBay and go to your Account Site Preferences:

Down at the bottom of that page is a setting to check -- "Keep me signed in on this computer". If it is already checked, uncheck it, hit "apply", and then check it again and hit "apply" again. Otherwise just check it and hit "apply".

If the usual sign-in page is giving you problems, here is an alternative that sometimes works better. Bookmark this to save in case you run into difficulties:
