Messages not working.....

I have been contacted by buyers and have tried responding SEVERAL times, the message says sent and a copy in your folders, but when I click to see my sent messages, they are not showing up.... None are sending to my email address either.....   It doesn't look like the buyers are receiving my messages and now because they have not received my messages (that there has been a shipping delay) they are starting to open cases for items not received!! Can someone please look into this!  Anyone else having this problem?  I had this problem last year also, but it seemed to get fixed within an hour, this has been going on for two days already.....  and this time already  affecting my relationship and communications with customers and will likely result in negative feedback?  Any suggestions???  Thanks,

If it were me, the first thing I would try is clearing my browser's cache, cookies and browser history, closing my browser, then trying again.

 

It is not happening with my selling accounts, so it must be something on your end.

What's affecting your relationship with your buyers is the delay in shipping. Your DSR ratings clearly show that this is not an isolated issue. You have no proof that your messages aren't being received by the buyers.

thank you all for your help.... it seemed to resolve by the next morning and now shows the messages were sent. "thatsallfolks" thanks for your comments and constructive criticism, i understand, but also when I have a google history showing i sent the messages and they do not show up in my sent folder, i would have to say that i do have proof the messages were sent. best regards,

I clearly said you have no proof they weren’t RECEIVED.

How can you tell if a buyer is getting your messages? I'm not sure if there is something wrong or if it's user error? They are sending me questions, I'm replying, and then they're still sending questions- like they have never got my messages.

I am having the same problem using Firefox. I cannot open any of the messages or respond to any (either through the ebay website or through the email notification they sent me.) The lateness of my reply is becoming an issue...

Thanks for that completely useless and passive aggressive reply. You're a real hero... I, unlike the OP, do not have any history with late shipping and I am also unable to open or reply to any messages. Does anybody on here with any CONSTRUCTIVE advice have anything to offer?

Instead of criticizing a volunteer's ten month old response to someone else's post for not immediately solving your current problem, how about you provide some constructive details about your issue. What exactly happens when you try to open a message -- what do you see or not see? Have you tried sending messages directly to your buyers rather than responding to their messages. Can you read any eBay messages at all? Have you tried using the app?

 

What steps have you taken -- erasing cookies, clearing your cache, trying different browsers?
