I'm not a super collector nor do I pay to authenticate cards. how much would it cost to get a good looking jordan rookie and a couple Ruth Fro Joy cards checked? the jordan especially looks slight chance legit. is it worth money to find out they are fake?

Post some high resolution scans of front and back and we'll tell you for free.

We need a F&B closeup of the Jordan RC alone--that scan is wayyy too small to tell anything,
As to your Fro-Joys: Where & when did you get them--What is the story behind your acquisition?
I think they are both fakes.

I think everything you have is fake but yes better scans and we'll know for sure.

A close up of the back will tell the story

Wow... I'm no expert... but if Iever saw a high $$$ FB card where the colors from the front "bled" around to the back boarders...

I think your Jordan is authentic, but it needs to be compared side by side to a known real one to be sure.

Fred....one sure shot way to authenticate a Jordan rookie is the allignment of the AVG 27.2 stat on the back. 99.999% of fakes have the 27.2 alligned slightly to the right of the upper 22.7.
A true Fleer Jordan will have the 27.2 alligned .001 microscope view slightly to the left of the 22.7. The photo seen here on the thread shows the 27.2 easily spotted OC to the right.

I think it's a fake but worth a few bucks to check it out.
