How to follow the Firearms & Accessories policy?

Hey guys,

Anyone here sell firearm parts?

How do you deal with listings being taken down due to them fitting on a firearm eBay considers an "assault weapon"?

They use very vague language in the "Firearms and accessories policy", won't supply a list of firearms they consider "assault weapon" and I've already scraped all of the information I possible can from Federal Laws and Wikipedia involving assault weapons.

I still get 1-2 listing removed per 200 uploaded a month and I'm getting closer to a 3-day account restriction, 7-day account restriction, and eventually permanent ban.

Is there a solution? Or should I leave this niche?

SIDE NOTE:

I know just because other seller's items are up and mine are taken down DOESN'T mean they are allowed on ebay and "eventually" they'll get caught too.

BUT FOR THE RECORD, my competitors have 20,000+ listings in this niche, so they have to be doing something right to avoid/abide by this vague policy.

Just curious....what items are they removing? Ebay and the rest of the Communist crowd would like nothing better than to see you and all the rest quit selling firearm accessories. I am really shocked they still allow any of it. Must be a lot of money in it for them still....It could be a competitor turning you in for no real reason.....seen that before.

I sell stocks, magazine, lasers, lights and much more. It could be a competitor, but I don't know.

I'm just trying to abide by the "assault weapons" portion of the policy. If anyone can give me a good practice or solution I'd be happy.

I am in the same boat as you are in removal of these items. Your right in regards to eBay not saying what weapons are assault weapons. As for the comment made by Pcobra, that is a typical from a liberal or Dem.  I am on a 7 day suspension for selling a Ruger Stock. They said it is used for a assault weapon. Lol. Ya ok. We won't win and they always will. Just don't post and DIME EVERYONE else out. Flood there phones with **bleep** off customers may make them back off a little.  Who knows.
