Erroneous Assault Rifle Parts and Accessories Restriction Violation Determinations by eBay

eBay has repeatedly taken down our NON ASSAULT RIFLE listings for violation of their Assault Rifle Parts and Accessories Policy.  We specialize in Pump Shotgun Home Defense Conversion Parts and Accessories.  None of our listings are compatible with or will fit any Assault Weapons or California listed Assault Weapons including Shotguns.  Customer Service, at our request has created multiple cases and appeals, but we never hear back as to the findings or get justification for eBay's violation of their own policies.  It's as if there are rouge eBay employees with political agendas or total ignorance of the subject matter?

There is a trend among policy enforcers, such that anything that looks like it might be a violation will be treated as a violation, whether it really is a violation or not. This is the same thing that happens with YouTube censorship. Politically motivated policy enforcers will use similarity as identity when it comes to proscribed speech. You don't have to actually break a rule; seeming to come close to breaking it is deemed sufficient to impose the penalty of demonetization, censorship, banning, and so on. I think that might be what is happening here. You didn't actually break a rule, but what you were selling looks similar to something else that is not allowed to be sold here. A just and impartial review would clear you. A politically motivated reviewer would simply, gleefully impose the penalty anyway.

Good luck. I've been stone-walled so many times on **bleep** like this I have given up and am using GunBroker and ArmsList. I have spoken to some eBay reps who say they could find nothing wrong with what I was listing and referred it up the ladder. No follow-up. I call again, have different reps right off the bat tell me the item in question was definitely forbidden, and he didn't care what the other rep said. It's the company's Kailifornia mindset or a lack of training.
