where is my refund

so I bought a swimming pool.... it leaked.... seller wasn't replying so opened up a case which I won so I had to send it back to the seller and ebay said I'd get a refund once it had been delivered. since then seller has contacted me saying they don't except refunds. am I waiting for a refund that's not coming as seller has received swimming pool back but still no refund. also cost me £12 to send it back, will that get refunded too?

Ebay should have gave you a date in which they can step in and help. You will get a full refund.

Sound's like you opened the wrong kind of case.

You should have opened an Item Not As Described case and seller would have been responsible for return shipping.

If you just filed for a return and seller has a no return policy, they can deny the return and refund.

You might contact Ebay and let them you know you opened the wrong case and see if they'll help.

• What is the case you opened?  A request for a return or an "Item Not Received"?
• If it is a request for a return, what was the return reason you selected from the drop down menu?
• Was the tracking number uploaded in the return request?  And, does the tracking show delivered?

And, to answer your question about return costs, if you paid for it rather than using an eBay label, then you are not reimbursed for it.

thank you everyone, I managed to get through to ebay today and the seller has 5 days to refund so I have to wait another day. I paid for postage as it weighed 22kg and ebay only provide postage labels for up to 2kg they said. yes it was faulty so was sent back under those terms but seller messaged me saying he would not refund but I had already sent it back as eBay told me too after I won my case.
