what is going on with this shipment

The package with a laptop has been bouncing back and forth in the Seattle area for the past 6 days.

Was there an error on the shipping label?

eBay is giving me another two days before I can file a Item Not Received on March 28.

If I don't receive it by then, should I file immediately?

Or should I wait another few days? If I wait, how long do I wait?

It arrived at the post office yesterday March 28, 2024 and I picked up today Friday, March 29, 2024.

The error was with the seller. 

The label he put on the box was not scannable.

I have attached a photo showing what I mean.

The crease in the label is what caused the problem.

In addition, the USPS put a bypass label on it. I have never seen something like that before.

Does the bypass label replace the bad barcode, like FedEx when they add a charge for a relabel?

No clue. I have NEVER seen a bypass label before in my 30+ years of buying things on eBay.

UPSP made it right so that I received the package.

I even paid $31.15 for USPS Priority Mail shipping.

The seller couldn't even put a label on the package right.
