Sold an item Feb 16th, shipped out same day (USPS acceptance, processed through local sorting hub)
And my package goes into a black hole
Buyer opens INR March 9th , she is being generous and is waiting till March 23rd to escalate and get her refund.
March 25th there was a "fresh" tracking update.
And my package goes into a black hole again.
Meanwhile I opened a research case with USPS March 10th, which was closed the same day w/o resolution. Then I called back in 2 days, the case was escalated by USPS. And stays this way untill today Apr the 4th.
So the buyer got refunded. Which is fine by me. But I was hoping the item would arrive eventually and I could appeal.
This "eventually" is taking forever, and I think I only have 30 days after the case was closed to appeal the case with eBay? What are my options if the package arrives outside the appeal time frame ?
BTW, messaged the buyer and asked to refuse the delivery (if and when) so it made its way back to me, unfortunately there was no response.
