Hi Everyone,  I am having an issue.  I received an order this morning.  Packed it up ,  printed label & went to P.O.  I stood on line & got my receipt.  Checking my order page a bit later, no acceptance scan.  Double checked my receipt & the tracking number & address on my reciept was different than on my label.  No scan anywhere yet on my label tracking number.  Any thoughts on this will be a blessing as I am really confused.  Thank You All So Much,  You Guys Are Great.

You had a package scanned at the PO got a receipt and the tracking number is different. How are you getting addresses on your receipt? I get the city state and zip code on mine.

I find that impossible. Unless you printed the wrong label. Are you sure you were given the correct receipt ?

Actually u r correct.  by address I meant different Citys & States.  My label w/my tracking number going to Flat Rock NC - weight 10ozs / receipt from P.O. w/different tracking number going to Santa Fe NM. - weight 1lbs. 1.50ozs.  - Sorry 4 the confusion.

Yes 2 orders today.  The 1st order went to the P.O. & is the one with the issue. - The 2nd order came in not long ago - is ready & will go to P.O. tomorrow AM.

Did you go to the p.o. with the QR code and have them print the label and attach it to the package? If so, is it possible that they printed the same label twice? 

For the tracking number on your receipt, does it match any orders you shipped recently?

Printed label on my desktop thru. eBay. labels.  Tracking on my label matches the tracking on my orders page.  But,  P.O. receipt shows different tracking - weight - city & state.  No scan registers on my order page as of 11:30 PM eastern

Not even close to anything that I have recently shipped.  I never ship anything over 12ozs. & have no customers in New Mexico.  Thought at first someone else got my receipt & I got theirs' - But no scans yet on MY tracking number.  Everything perfect for 13years until now.  Man!

What are the 2 tracking numbers @jbbowers12012 ?

Sounds like maybe an issue with label generation and the wrong barcode?

Today 10/22 I went over & had a loooong discussion with the "top guy" at our P.O. about what could have happened   Showed him my receipt & a copy of my label w/two different tracking numbers.  He did not have a clue.  THEN -  by the time I got home I had my acceptance scan with yesterdays (10/21) date.  Go figure.  Thank You everyone for your help - You guys are great.

It's not uncommon for tracking to take up to 24 hours to populate. Since your label now has tracking scans my best guess here is the cashier gave you a receipt from the customer in line before you.

In 13yrs. of work on eBay we have never had an acceptance scan run over into the next day before it showed on the order page.  Now that we know it can happen we will not stress over it too much.  Thank You Everyone!!!  You Guys Have "Talked Me Down" Once Again!!
