shipping table rates - shipment to Canada using Erlanger, KY 41025

Received an order last night to Canada.  It is going through the Export processing center in Erlander,  KY zip code 41025.  eBay did not apply my table rate for Kentucky.  Charged my customer zero dollars for U.S. shipping.  Now I have lost $18.00.

Why did eBay not charge any domestic shipping when the destination is in Kentucky.

When an international buyer purchases an item, your shipping table is applied to their international address ... not Kentucky.  Of course, your shipping table will not have that international address covered, so your transaction will apply the default shipping amount that you put in the shipping section of your listing.   You probably had free shipping as your default shipping charge.

When creating a listing with a shipping table, the default shipping amount is applied to (a) GSP shipments, and (b) domestic addresses that your shipping table does not cover ... this can happen because your shipping table is incomplete, or eBay changes the granularity of destinations.  When we use shipping tables, we always have the default shipping charge equate to whatever we would charge for the package going to Kentucky.

You have US ishipping in all your listings. PayPal should've collected the item cost plus shipping to KY and given that to you minus the PayPal fee, which is based on the total amount the buyer paid.

If that's not what you're seeing you need to call eBay.
