Hello community. I sent an item to a customer and the shipper UPS tried to deliver to the customer three times but it was sent back. She paid for shipping and price of the item. Since I paid with her funds to ship the item and it came back do I have to refund the shipping as well as the item? I was going to refund just the item just checking to see am I correct? Thank you for any input.

Yes, you can 'not pay' shipping (unless you have 'FREE Returns') but customer can still leave negative feedback in which you can a.) ignore b.) reply c.) try to get it removed.
