I don't know if this is the right location for this, but it's the closest I could find.
I have a couple of free items that I want to ship to a previous buyer.
Is there a way to create a shipping label without a sold item?
Thanks,
Gerry

Thanks for the link.
I found it interesting that PayPal came up with a cost of $48.38 for shipping the same item that I have sold on Ebay and shipped for $16.48.
This time I'm giving it to a customer for free and the postage is 3 times as much.
Weird!
Anyway, thanks again.
I will take it to the Post Office tomorrow and see what they come up with.

The post office will quote you the RETAIL rate, paypal charges you the discounted commercial rate. Perhaps you chose the wrong service when you calculated the cost? express when you meant priority? or made a mistake on the weight?

Doulbe-check the dimensions, too. You might have run into the "dimensional weight" for Priority Mail.
