Hi- I was wondering if anyone could help me. I was contacted by a prospective buyer who asked if I made a typo in my listing about the shipping cost. I put in the item, and it was showing me $16 plus for expedited shipping, which I realized was from my town. She told me that from Terrance,Cal where she is, the cost is coming up as over $57 to ship this hand bag weighing 3.11 ounces. I tried to change it from Priority to Parcel Select to see if it would be cheaper. It would not allow me to revise the item. The item is promoted. I don't know if this has anything to do with it. The buyer also advised that many of my bags are showing similar crazy high shipping costs, which is why maybe they are not selling. I tried USPS online to see if there is a flat rate box but none listed are large enough ,19x14x7. I am on the East Coast. As soon as I sell to someone west of the Mississippi the costs sky rocket. Fed Ex or UPS prices do not seem to be better. This is not the first sale I will lose because of it.I am gave up being Top Rated Plus because I can't afford to pay these outrageous costs if the buyer decides to return. Thanks for any ideas.

I've learned long time ago, never play with checking shipping cost via changing shipping location for international shipping. Somehow eBay makes -for example Mexico- to your default location. Go to your listing and click on "Shipping, returns & payments" to make sure the "Item Location" is correct.
