I posted and item and placed a shipping cost of $5. The item expired and I reposted it. however ebay set the shipping at $10.89. My buyer had seen the 1st posting at $5 He has paid but I'm not surehow to offer the $5 price. Any help W B great

If you wish to do so you can go to the sold item in the sellers hub>
Use the drop down arrow by that item>
Select send refund>
Choose a reason>
enter a note to buyer if desired>
Choose an amount>
Review>
Refund.

You can send the buyer a refund for the difference.
But in the future look at your shipping before you post your listing. eBay doesn’t change anything unless the seller does it.

Just a word of advice.. you cannot give buyers positive feedback with a negative comment.

So true @ebooksdiva . You risk losing your selling account over it. You also should have refunded AFTER you got the item back, not before, as the motivation is gone.
