I bought a ceiling fan. I looked about returns if there was an issue. So I get it and the mounting isnt even feesable in hown american homes are built for ceiling fan hook ups. i cant use it. So ebay state seller pay return if there is an issue with the product, buyer pays if they change their mind. Any ideas on how to handle this. It will be 100 to ship via usps

EBay states that the seller will pay for the return if the item is defective or not as described. Is the item detective or not as described?

Go to the hardware store and buy what you need to mount the fan

1. Pay $100 to ship it back, 2. figure out how to adapt it, 3. or try selling it locally. Those are about all your options, unless the description said something that was untrue. I mean electrical stuff from India, what could go wrong?

I cant believe I am actually reading this.............who on earth buys a ceiling fan from India
is there something you can accomplish with this tranaction that is better than getting it locally
ever hear of lowes or home depot.......you can get some nuts and bolts and junction boxes there to mount it
keep on looking for bargains!
