Hello. I have this problem. I asked the seller to return the item. The seller gave me a return label. I didn't use its return label, but sent the item myself. The product arrived at the seller's warehouse, but the seller does not respond to my repeated messages. Please tell me what to do?

Why didn't you use the seller's return label? This might cause problems as to showing delivery back to the seller...

It just happened. Do I not have the right to send the product myself without using the seller's label? And that this gives the seller a reason not to make me a refund of my funds and ignore my messages where I clearly indicated the order and tracking number of the refund?

Sure. You have the right to return it any way you see fit.

Yes... it gives the seller a reason . If you'd used their label, the tracking info would already appear in the case and you wouldn't have to send the seller messages. As it is now, the return is 'incomplete'.

 

Hopefully your seller will see things as you do and will refund you even considering the 'glitch'. Good luck!

You are welcome. There's no way to make the seller pay attention, though, and no way to complain to eBay.

The Return process definitely favors the Buyer and when properly used is quick and painless on the Buyer.

 

I don't know the reasons for the return and can't speak to your Seller's practices, but it might work out for you. As a seller myself... if everything else checked out, I'd make things right. Hopefully you'll have a good outcome.

did you upload the tracking number in the return request itself.If not ebay has no way to see it was returned

Thanks for the answer. There was no place to add my tracking number. The seller immediately provided the label, but I did not use it, and sent the product myself.

So, to be clear, you paid for your own label with your own money instead of using the one the seller sent you without charge? And the label you bought included tracking, and entered your label's tracking number into the case you filed in eBay's Resolution Center? Is that correct?

Did you update the tracking number in the return so Ebay knows when the package it returned?

I see you're registered in Armenia. Where was the seller located? Did you mail it from Armenia? Where is the seller's warehouse located? HayPost provided tracking from Armenia to the seller's warehouse? Where did you get the seller's return address? Was it from the label on the package you received, or was it from the prepaid return label the seller sent you (that you didn't use)?

Send a private message to eBay with your name, email, and postal code at Facebook or Twitter to add your own tracking number instead.

I don't get it:  Why would you not use the prepaid return shipping label sent to you by the buyer?
