I am returning an item an can obtain the shipping for a cheaper amount then the seller is charging me. Can I return the item using my own shipping method?

What is the reason for the return? If it's an INAD, then the seller is responsible for return shipping. If not, then you can return the item any way you want as long as it has tracking to show delivery back to the seller.

Sellers don't charge for return shipping. If it's a remorse return and eBay made a label available for purchase, you don't have to use it.
