I received a return auth on a disputed claim. I was required to advise the tracking number by 9/29. On 9/29, I submitted the tracking AND I received notice that my time had run out to provide the tracking number. I can't find a way to straighten this out. Any suggestions??

I would understand by 9/29 as meaning 9/28 is the latest the tracking number could be provided. Specifically by 11:59 PST.
