I'm really frustrated with this system... I returned a pair of sunglasses to mountain warehouse ebay shop using their own free return slip. I haven't had any confirmation and didn't know that I was supposed to scan ebay's label so they know it's been returned. What's weird is when I click on the return details and it says
"We didn't receive proof of dispatch by 23 Jul, so we automatically closed your request. If you sent this item back to the seller without using the label we provided, we can step in and help."
Today is the 19th July... and there's no way to reopen the case or to ask ebay to help. When I go to Appeal it says the decison cannot be changed. I'm going round in circles on the help section there seems to be no way to get my money back...
Anyone smarter than me have any ideas?
Thanks

Unlike an eBay-provided return label which disappears, if you still have the free return slip in your email, open a dispute at PayPal to return the overcoat. Go back and click Escalate to PayPal right away.
Then, when PayPal says to return the sandals, type in the tracking number of the return slip that's already delivered back to the seller to get your refund.

Thanks - I tried to do that but I don't have the return slip in my email (maybe deleted?)
Paypal's dispute system doesn't have an option for dispute over returning an item... I think I'll just try and phone them tomorrow, I think that would be easier!

Go to this page and bored down through the categories/pages and you should be able to ask for eBay to call you back. It'll be an option at the bottom of a page.
If you do get someone to cal you back, ask them why they are saying 23 Jul, when this is the 19th.
