i just noticed i had multiple orders show "late shipment" on the late shipment report from 2 weeks ago even though they were certainly not shipped late, it says "Shipping carrier indicated late delivery", the last time i genuinely recall shipping something late was over 2 months ago, am i missing something?
Also i offer 1 day shipping and one of them says the item was purchased on the 9th and the label was created on the 10th which proves i didnt ship late, i always drop my packages off the next day but the tracking says the item wasnt accepted until the 15th, is that why i am getting hit with the late shipment? if so how is that my fault?

To eBay, it appears as though you printed off a label and did not get it to the post office the next day. It is simply a case of not getting a scan from the USPS when you drop off your item.
I used to stand in line to get that scan, but stopped a few years ago. For me, it isn’t worth the time. Sure, I sometimes get some late shipment dings, but I’m still fine
per the eBay metrics.

If you drop off and dont stand in line for a scan, you can get a late shipping ding.
I either have USPS pick up or stand in line to make sure I get an acceptance scan.
My mail lady will scan at pickup and I get an email to prove that have it.
Sellers need proof that they shipped on time and an acceptance scan is part of the proof.
eBay looks at it that you could have printed the label on the 10th and not taken it to the PO until the 15th.

On-time shipping is based on when your label gets its first scan, not on when the label is printed. If the first scan is after your stated handling time, then eBay gives you a second chance: If the package is delivered within the estimated handling time then you aren't dinged for late shipping.
With tracking, we'll count an item as late when:
The separate on-time criterion for TRS status does use the date that the label was printed, and then ANY scan can serve as proof that the tracking number is genuine:
At least 95% of transaction have tracking uploaded within handling time and validated by carrier
