"Ask Ebay to step in missing", please help

So, i bought a device that was not working. I contacted the company and they gave me a return label. Yet, much time passed and they had no news about my product. They told me that if does not arrive by Friday,last week, they will refund me.

The 30 days window of reporting to Ebay were nearly over, so i did that just in case.

Then i found out that the return item report goes not to ebay but to the seller... who sent me another return label.. even though i had already returned sent the item back almost a month ago!

I really hope this was an accident(they are a big company after all, i imagine they can't remember every buyer), but just in case i wanted to contact Ebay directly...

Did you make a note of the tracking number on the original label the company sent you? If so, enter it into the case you filed on eBay. That will provide eBay with all the information they need to be aware of whether the returned item has been delivered to the seller.

If you didn't keep a record of the tracking number on the original return label, eBay will have no way of knowing whether the seller ever got the item back.

There's really no point in contacting eBay directly.
