I have had trouble every year at this Christmas time getting my packages delivered. I am not going to buy anything again online during Christmas and shipping it through the post office. I got a package sent November 19 and it is Dec 13 and still no package and it has gone round the world and now who knows where it is. Its ridiculous and I will try to find any other way to mail anything beside the usps. They put you off if you try to find where it is or make a complaint.

I have noticed the USPS web site has gotten far less helpful. You can request a package search on that site if the package is late enough. You should give that a try.
It's made worse by everyone trying to have Christmas at the same time. It needs to be spread out say by state you live in or date of birth. Reducing peak demand is a proven solution. However, getting the pope on board would be an uphill battle.

UPS, Fedex, USPS, etc. will all have shipping delays...this has been like this for decades.
Seller beware though...UPS and Fedex has been sending extra surcharges where it cost sellers more after shipping begins.
Some of my favorite sellers close shop on the 15th this month to avoid the holiday headaches.
Maybe a 'Time Away' would work.
