I ordered an item that was delivered.  To an out of state address. The out of state address was showed as my shipping address. I did not realize this. Til i seen the package was delivered. I don"t know how this address was set as my shipping address. Ebay is not helping me at all. Because they are saying the package was delivered. I have been doing business on ebay many of years. my shipping address has been the same. I wrote a letter to the address. Where my package was delivered. I"m hopping they will send it back. Since ebay has closed my case.

Check your account settings @2797alan . Is the address in Delaware, Oregon, or Miami/Doral Florida?

If the answer is yes, then your account was likely hacked and the overseas scammers put in the address of their freight forwarder so they can steal your purchases.

Because eBay shows the shipping address at checkout before you make a purchase, they're not going to back you up here.

Update your registration address and shipping address and any other applicable addresses entered in the 5 sections. Change the new address to the default. After the new address is set as the default you can delete the old address.

Next time you make a purchase, verify the correct address is showing before you submit your payment.

I'd also recommend changing your eBay password and setting up 2FA (2 factor authentication) for security - which will send you a text message code any time someone tries to log in to your account.

If you use the same password for any other sites, you should change those, too.
