item marked delivered but not and in wrong country!

Hi guys

Seems a bit of a pickle, bought an item from japan, paid for straight away, was sent and then returned to sender, appears seller sent again, now marked delivered, but in Japan! I am in Australia. 

Have sent multple messages to seller with 0 response

Trying to lodge a case with ebay, however ebay says cant lodge a case until after the expected delivery date, not only has the item been marked delivered, its also a day after the expected delivery date!

This seems most irregular, any input would be greatly appreciated

eBay goes by Pacific time, you were not quite there yet. So you can start an Item Not Received refund request right now, as it's finally the day after the latest estimated delivery date, but that's assuming you can un-lodge the case from wherever the case was lodged?

If you don't quickly get a refund, wait for 3 business days to completely pass, then ask eBay to step in for your refund, as your item was delivered in Japan so you're definitely not getting it.
