hi all- quick question. I am a seller, but this has never happened before (miraculously). I bought a lipstick from a seller in Michigan, I am in Ohio. He shipped first class USPS and we all know how crazy/backed up the USPS is right now. The item shipped Dec. 13 but hasn't been scanned since Dec 16 arriving at a Detroit mail facility. On the 21st, I opened a lost package case with USPS (after a 70 minute on hold wait) and was supposed to hear something from them, but haven't. I contacted the seller just as an fyi, but told him I would do the usps legwork as I have experience with opening lost package cases (not for items sold on ebay but for other things). with them--and he is a very small seller. Anyway, guessing this lipstick may eventually show up. But if it doesn't, do I --as the buyer--get a refund from the seller? It isn't his fault, but it obviously isn't mine either. I highly doubt he insured the package, as it was only $15, so not a huge crisis. I will give it another week or so, but just wondering how it is handled on ebay if it IS actually lost in usps cyber space. thanks for your help. Merry Christmas + Happy Holidays
