it shows item sent before I pay?! do i get a tracking number scam?

I bought this item on the evening of June 16. It showed that it would be sent from Canada（I'm in the eastern United States, so it wouldn't be a time zone issue）, I waited a week. Hope the tracking number can be updated.
But I found that it shows it has been delivered. And the time was a day after I placed the order, the address is my address is correct. But I didn't receive anything.
What's even more suspicious is that the package shows that it was sent before I placed the order, and from North Carolina instead of Canada!

What should I do?

I hope you paid by credit card.    Contact the shipper and get a letter saying that tracking number was not delivered to your address. An email will do.  It's hard to get that but keep calling until you do. Each call gets you a different person and in time you will reach one that will help.

Then with that you can file a case.  If you paid by credit card call them and explain it's the fake tracking number scam. They know it well.  Or the payment service you used.
