how to use other shipping services besides USPS

When buying shipping from eBay,  there is a pull down in that screen showing all the other shipping options you can purchase. 

You can also open personal accounts with UPS, FedX, and others to purchase your own shipping and enter the tracking into the transaction.

if you are not familiar with UPS then I woud skip it

UPS has good online rates thru ebay but they are just estimates

many sellers are surprised when they get the bill

ebay dos not let you in on the 150 special cost hikes but apparently other postage sellers have the list

Try out the UPS or FedEx websites. It will not hurt you to open up an account from both those couriers.

You can purchase USPS and UPS shipping labels through Pirateship.  Their website does integrate with eBay and upload the tracking number.
