how to print shiping labels on ubuntu using brother p-touch ql-500

Hi all, Ive never sold on ebay before so Im wanting to make sure I know what Im doing before I sell somthing.

So Im running ubuntu 16.04, my label printer is the brother p-touch ql-500

So when my item sells how do I print the label?

Any help would be much appreciated.

My son installed ubunto on our computers, so when something sells for me, I have the info and just hit print and everything is fine (unless our ink is low).  I am not sure which version, but we've used it for a few years now.

I don't know about ubuntu, but on ebay (and paypal too if you print from there), you need to select the Brother QL label format.

When you are on the ebay shipping page, click on Printer and Receipt Preferences at the upper right to select the printer format before you print a label.
