buyer sent message after item had been ship. stated ebay had wrong address and wanted refund see message: This item is not being shipped to right address, somehow eBay messed my address up. so I will be needing a refund and you will see when it arrives in Ocala it wont arrive here and will be returned so a refund will be needed.

I replied:

When package is returned refund will be given

Their reply:

Thats fine I can claim unreceived item and eBay will get it to me sooner. have a good day.

Then opened a case on it which proceded like this:

And as I've stated before I will not refund until I've received package back to me. Refund amount will depend on and if how much I'm charged for the return postage. This is no fault of mine. You provided the address to which package was sent. You have not wanted to go through return/refund policy in the normal official way. You have harassed, named called and bullied.

That fine as if you’ll be charged for something returned to sender NOT. DUH. its coming back to you check original tracking. Its simple to work out and your making this harder than it needs to be. to not refund an honest mistake is theft. And I will file a chargeback on my bank card if eBay fails to fix it.

Tracking states it is being sent back to me as of Aug 5th.

Fed up with the name calling, bulling, abuse and also negative feedback left. When will ebay step in?

Do not respond further with buyer.
Add buyer to blocked buyer list.

When you receive item back issue a refund.
Report Buyer. I think on this one I'd call.

WHAT??? So this isn't the first time!

Threats about PP case, opening such would dismiss the ebay case.

A few things:

how do i get ebay to resolve this issue ... when will eBay step in? - eBay does not typically resolve Item Not Received (INR) cases while the package is still moving. Once it is delivered back to you, then you can refund the buyer through the INR case if you wish ... refunding through the INR is a full refund (if I recall) of item price plus S&H paid by the buyer.
Should you want to do a partial refund, then you will first need to get the INR case closed by calling eBay and escalating the claim. At eBay, an attempted delivery is equivalent to a delivery, so the INR should close in your favor. If for some reason it doesn't and eBay rules in the buyer's favor, make sure to appeal so that you don't have a seller defect.
Do not refund independent of the the INR case while the INR case is still active. For example, do not go on PayPal and do a partial refund.
