help please re: buyer from location I dont ship to

I just had a sale and when I looked at the (last second) bid winner, I noticed they are from Chili.  My settings are set that up that I dont ship anyplace other that USA.  I know he could have a different shipping address but I wont know that until they pay.

My question is should I just cancel the order NOW and choose address as the reason or should I wait and see IF they have a USA address. Can they leave feedback regardless on what ever choice I make?

The buyer would not have been able to bid on your item unless they used a US ship-to address.

Why not wait until they pay and see if there is an actual problem with the address?

Don't cancel. You made a sale and it's likely that the buyer uses a freight forwarder. It's perfectly within ebay's policies and the buyer didn't circumvent any restrictions. (They WILL have a US address or wouldn't have been able to buy your item.)

Once you're paid, ship the item with tracking and as long as it gets delivered to the address you're told to ship to, you're fine.

I am glad I didn't jump to conclusions. They DO have a US address to ship to. 🙂
