having problems with my post office scan in more than 5 packages at a time

My local post office tells me they can't scan more than 5 packages at a time. So if I bring in 30 packages I need to go to the end of the line and go through the process 6 times. Anyone else have a similar experience? When I leave  or drop my packages without a scan I end up with around 5% of my packages without any scans at all.

Thus I have to refund my buyers and I receive negative feedback.

Well, I have printed labels and then printed several others later in the day and they combined at the end into one scan sheet.

I haven't given a package to the person at the counter in years. I dump them in the bin and I suggest you do the same.

The time wasted at the counter and in line on a daily basis will long term absolutely dwarf any possible benefit you get by getting that scan right then and there. Even if it is 10 minutes a day, that is 2500 minutes a year if you don't ship on weekends. You just burned an entire week's worth of work that year doing that. Did it prevent a weeks income worth of problems? I doubt it.

Same here. The chances of me waiting in line at the post office would be significantly less than zero.

My post office has a designated counter to put them on. This is a rural type area and they never miss a scan, ever.

Same with the contractor personnel that run the delivery routes in their own vehicles. They scan every package put in my large mailbox.

Same with the place I drop the UPS shipments. Never miss a scan.

That is how things roll here in East Texas. Just get the job done right.

Some of my packages won't fit in the kiosk drop and even if it does, I'm not sure it's an official acceptance scan for eBay purposes.

It is. If you look in the eBay tracking, you'll see that it counts as "Accepted" once you've scanned it at the kiosk. I use the kiosk for all of my scans and have never once had an issue doing it that way.

The bulk shipping label as I understand it wont show eBay labels. These are the ones that tend to go without scanning at all.

My nearest kiosk is 68 miles away. Will the kiosk scan eBay labels?
