It is not a scam. Did the item description indicate that it had a USB opening or an actual USB cord?

Because you are experiencing a problem does NOT mean you seller is a "fraud" or trying to "scam" you. There may be a misunderstanding here. Without being able to see the listing you purchased from we have no way of knowing if the listing actually stated that you would be receiving a USB port installed in the purse or if it said it had an access point for a USB port. This could be a simple communication problem.
