I need to file a claim for a lost package through USPS. the shipping label was purchased through paypal from the link in the ebay listing. I need a copy of it for the insured claim, but I can not locate a copy of it anywhere. Anyone know how to get this. I have looked at the transaction in paypal but only shows the tracking number and cost of payment. I tried going through my ebay under the shipping labels but only shows the same information. I never saved the receipt from the bottom of the shipping label as I assume this could of been retrieved online.

You can reprint a label for a few days, but after that I don't know anyway to get a copy of the label, because it could be used again. I always print labels to a pdf file so I can save them to my computer, then I print the pdf file.
I have never needed to have a copy of the label to file a lost mail inquiry, though. Try doing it from here. You'll need to provide the tracking number and a description of the contents.

This link may not be of help as the allowed time to reprint a label has probably long past. Worth a shot. Always a good idea to save those little receipts - I do for tax purposes back up.

I do not need a copy of the label, I need the receipt showing I bought the insurance, basically all the details from the shipping label. The post office cannot locate the package through the missing mail report but on the insurance claim filed they are requesting a copy of the receipt showing that insurance was purchased.

I have usually never saved the bottom of the receipt that’s on the shipping label, as I figured that could be something retrieved online but apparently not.

Go to your PayPal account, and click the link to go to the transaction where you purchased the label. You should be able to print that page to a pdf file and give them that.

all you need to file a claim is the tracking number and the date shipped. Log into www.USPS.com go to HELP look for file claim and go from there.
