Can you provide more information about the item, where you found the ad etc.

If you found an item (car,boat, etc.) on a different website and they say eBay will handle the transaction and you need to pay with gift cards it is a scam!

And no,,,, it is not "an escrow company". You make it sound like any escrow company.

It is escrow.com, and you failed to mention it's for Watch purchases over $10,000.

It's not helpful if you leave that out. Or are you thinking posting gives you brownie points and helps you sell?

They're from Sri Lanka. It's not about a car or paying for a car. It's some youtube knucklehead told them to come here and make informative posts because it helps them sell.

This has been an ongoing thing for 1-1/2-2 yrs, ever since SL forfeited loans to China and their economy tanked and people needed to supplement their income. eBay get rich quick youtube tutorials flourished. And they're probably paying for the course. SMH.
