eBay’s tracking info

The package I shipped got delivered by fedex and shows the picture of the package on the doorstep. But eBays tracking says not delivered yet and shows a lot of the tracking info and was pretty up to date the whole time until the package actually got delivered. Was wondering how long it takes eBay to update their tracking as my funds are on hold. Thank you!

eBays servers just haven’t caught up to FedExs tracking yet. You appear to be a brand new seller your funds can be held for up to 30days. 

Payout Holds  

• New or infrequent sellers will experience transaction holds while learning best selling practices. This helps sellers become established and build a strong selling history on eBay. New sellers typically experience holds for up to 14 days, although sometimes it may be longer
• Tip
  If we place a hold on your funds, it will usually be resolved within 30 days, but in rare circumstances it may take longer. For most orders, adding tracking information can help you receive your funds faster. eBay does not earn interest on held funds.

Being a new seller, they can hold your funds for thirty days,

Not sure how often tracking is updated on Ebay.

Not sure I agree. Every time it updated on fed ex tracking it updated on eBay as well. Like right on the spot. Within seconds or minutes at every scan. But now that it’s delivered ebay still shows it in the right town but not even out for delivery

What is the exact delivery scan on FedEx - is it just "delivered" or does it say something else @brden-5244?

Tracking scans can take up to 24 hours to populate between the carrier and eBay, even though it usually happens more quickly than that.

Either way, a brand new seller with an expensive item is not likely to see an immediate release of funds upon delivery. eBay may hold the funds longer to ensure there are no issues/claims. Read the link posted above by ebooksdiva on payment holds.
