Yeah, it's nice to have neg and bad feedback removed. It's great that service metrics won't be affected by INR's when shipped properly. It's great to get an extra 2 days to allow for an initial scan. Adding 10 days for tracking updates to escalated cases is swell and all, but most delayed packages are taking way longer than 10 days to move.
All this stuff above is nice, but the refunds to the very impatient buyers who WILL get their packages, leaving sellers completely empty handed, is killing sellers financially. What SHOULD have been done was to extend the time a buyer can file an INR request from 10 days past the latest delivery date. Then, a minimum of 10 days before they can escalate the claim and then 10 days before a refund.
Now, you may all think that is too long, but the fact is, buyers have NOTHING TO LOSE. The worse for them is they have to wait longer to either get the item, a refund or a free return if they don't want it anymore.
I'll take a few bad feedbacks instead of losing $1000's due to claims and giving buyers free goods, HOPING they will return them or pay for them.
And USPS insurance for lost packages is if no help during this either. They're stalling claims as long as possible to get out of paying, at least that is my experience so far with eight filed claims.

There isn't much help anywhere on anything from anyone in most places, these days.

This is a mess.
items aren’t arriving. Aren’t moving.
We aren’t making much & a few canceled orders because of items shipped two weeks ago are going to wipe out our modest profit.
Anyone could see this coming.
And yet last week there was in big letters on our listings “arrives before Christmas’
This is going to be interesting,
