eBay removing my feedback

I receintly bought something from a seller in Greece who has great feedback.  I received a empty package after contacting the seller, the seller made excuses, blamed others and called me a thief!  I left the seller feedback saying exactly what the seller said to me, as stated above and as documented in eBay email to me.  eBay erased my feedback for this seller?  I didn't break any eBay word usage rules in my feedback for this seller.  Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Not only did eBay erase my feedback for this seller. The transaction has completely disappeared from my eBay history?!?!

Even though the guy called you that stuff you cant do the same on feedback, its against the rules and is one of the only reasons feedback will be removed.

If you received an empty package all you had to do is go to the resolution center (bottom of page) and open an Item Not As Described case.

I did, eBay denied my claim!  I'm guessing because I recieved the package, though empyt!  Pay Pal didn't and has refunded my money!  So why has the transaction disappeared from my eBay history of transactions?!?!?

What type of case did you file?

Check the sellers ID, see if he is still a registered user.

Ebay removed the listing and when they do that, it disappears from your buying history.

Ebay most likely denied your claim because the item had already been removed from the site. When that happens you need to file through Paypal.

You opened an item not received case, that's why you lost.  That wasn't  correct because you did receive something according to the shipping.  As the other poster said, you should open an item not as described case.  As for the feedback, you can't post personal info, attacks, foul language, etc.  It was removed because you posted something you shouldn't.  If you paid via Paypal, go there and file.

Thank you for the response, the seller has not been removed as a seller.  He is still using eBay and is being supported by eBay.

Receiving a empy package is not receiving what I purchased!  I did not purchase a package that was empty.  It is obvious that you work for eBay since you are responding with information that I did not post in this thread.  Also, when you post responses to anything I say, eBay worker, don't lye and say my feedback used foul language.  I DID NOT!

The transaction is probably still there. When you open a case eBay moves the transaction to the bottom of your purchase history. Go back and look again scroll down till you see it 🙂

If you opened an item not received case then there is NO misinformation and you did open the wrong case. You received SOMETHING-an empty envelope-so it’s a not as described situation and you needed to open a return request for a not as described item.
