eBay is excluding almost all countries in my shipping

I have an ongoing problem with my listings. I ship worldwide and don't have any exclusions checked on my templates or site preferences. Still eBay goes through spells where it excludes almost every country on my listing. I use the GSP. It will actually do it with every listing, but will correct itself if I revise the listing once usually. I have tried to see if I can correct it several times by going through my business policies on site preferences. I've looked around for something that is causing the problem, but don't see anything. Does anyone have an idea why this is happening? Thanks!

Right now it is doing it and nothing I can do is correcting it. I'm stuck shipping only in the US.

@dallasrabbit I am seeing that all 137 of your listings ship worldwide.  Try viewing your listings without being signed in and see if that changes what you see.

Thanks, hidy-hoo. I signed out and even went to another browser, but am still getting the same thing. On items I recently listed it has that I ship to the US and many other countries, but has a long exclusion list that includes most countries. Items listed earlier have worldwide shipping. I guess I'll have to call eBay and find out what could be going on. It may not have any effect, since I ship GPS -- as long as people are able to check their shipping costs in other countries.

Perhaps it is just showing up for me at my IP address. It does get exasperating.

Yup, there is some kind of glitch ~ another day another eBay glitch

When I first checked, I just looked at the first listing (lowest first) that came up...just now I sorted "recently listed" and the "doesn't ship to" list is a mile long..and will only let me select a US ship to address!

I use the GSP.

Why?

I just looked at a glass hippo you are selling for $800+ that with the GSP will result in $55 s/h and $296 import charges.   I would ship this item first class myself and insure it with a 3rd party.  Way more money in your pocket.  Of course no one knows what a glass hippo is worth.

May be time to call them to see what is going on. There me a ghost from listings past somewhere. I have no idea.

I've heard the import fees on the GSP are often too high. I used to ship priority (and first class when possible), but customers wrote to request GSP. We can do both, but GSP is overridden. GSP is safer and more convenient for sellers, of course.

What is it about GSP that makes you think it is safer and/or more convenient for sellers?

Just did a search and selected Italy to check postage on an item that wasn't mine. Then I looked at one of my problem listings. It turns out that most of the major countries are still listed, so I'm not going to worry about the long list of excluded countries. Most of them are pretty risky, anyway. I will miss Japan, but I've only made one or two sales there in my time.

About the GSP -- I compared the costs of shipping most things that I'm selling and the GSP cost was less expensive. The more expensive items have import costs that can be very high. Actually I would rather a customer know these import costs upfront, then to be surprised with them later. In many countries, import fees can reach 50%. I've had customers in my off-ebay shop contact me sometimes and ask if I would value the item at $50 so the fees would not be so high. I don't lie on customs forms, but I'm always sorry that the fees are so high. Many countries are very protectionist.

You can, while just logged in, change your location to look at what buyers in other countries see when they look at your listings.

Select sort by "Distance nearest first". Then chose a country and check your listings and the costs for shipping to that country via the GSP. Then select another country. Until you're done.

The countries you'll see in the list are all included in your listings.

In the listing these costs show up:

Thank you, twinkling smile. You're seeing the same thing that I did when I checked like I was from another country. It was encouraging.
