eBay expected delivery dates are so wrong, insane off!!!

I just sold an item yesterday Sep 09-24-2020, I got a 10 days handling time for all my items because of USPS delays, but this item expected delivery date to the buyer is Oct 08-02-2020. That's not even my 10 days handling time, neither the time USPS takes to deliver any package by First Class, even if I pack and ship the item 15 minutes after purchase.

I attached the pictures of this information.

Now if this item gets delivered late because of eBays **bleep** system, I'm the one who is going to loose my money not eBay.

eBay is known to exxegurate sometime. you're new, get used to it.

The problem is that eBay is just ignoring my 10 handling days, check the dates from sold date sept 24 to oct 2 is just 8 days including weekends, where are my 10 handing days + USPS delivery time?

There is something wrong with eBay system, I just sold another item and it is the same issue.

@digita_47. The problem is that eBay uses historical data for YOUR shipments.  The best way to handle this is to use generic economy shipping on your listings for the shipping policy as it will have a built in longer delivery date.

Then ship with the faster shipping method of 1st class or priority

The description of handling times says:

Estimated delivery dates includes seller's handling time, origin Zip Code, destination Zip Code.....

And in there it says: Estimated by XXXXX ?, Includes 10 business days handling time after receipt of cleared payment.

All of this is just **bleep**!!

I got no other option but to take down all my items until this gets solved =(

I already tried using other generic economic shipping services and still shows between oct 3 and oct 5, which is not including my full 10 handling days, even if I put 30 handling days shows the same expected dates, so there is no use I just gave up, I sold two items with this incorrect delivery dates, if they get delivery late I'm going to be the one loosing my money and item not eBay =(.

You are misusing "handling time"". To eBay "handling time" is the time between which you sell an item and the day YOU ship. Handling time has NOTHING to do with USPS delivery time.

If, historically, you ship within a day or two THAT is the information that eBay uses to calculate the delivery date.

The delivery date information you are showing in your screen shot is accurate based on your history.

That is not true. Covid affects handling times too. Most directly by failures and delay in package pick up.Ebay needs to stop thinking it knows better than me about everythinb everything .

I understand that handling time has nothing to do with usps delivery time, but the description and functionality of it is so simple, please read the description of it, what's the point of allowing me to set a handling time of 1-30 days if eBay will set the expected delivery date it wants.

You need to understand that if a item does not gets delivery by that date, the buyer can open an not received item case, eBay do not side with seller by any reason, I'll be the one loosing the money + my item + FVF because they do not refund it in most cases. All because eBay "knows" USPS delivery times, which can change at any time without noticed and decides to ignore my 10 days handlings times for backup.

I totally agree with you.

eBay is not USPS and I do not understand why eBay is forcing me to a unrealistic delivery time that not even USPS guarantee at all.

In the last new message from eBay is stated that you are responsible for shipping an item within your stated handling time (check the picture), my handling time is 10 days but eBay is telling my buyers that their items must be delivered within 8 days including weekends. eBay is just ignoring my handling time and the problem is that a buyer can open a not received item and I will loose all (money, item, FVF).
