eBay envelope tracking

I shipped a coin out via eBay envelope on Tuesday (day after item purchased) but it is still just showing as shipped.  Is this normal?  It's been in the mail for 3 days now.

Shouldn't it at least show that it is in transit?

Should but very often doesn't.

You don't see tracking on these. That is why the shipping is very inexpensive.

Item is still showing as "shipped" but at least the buyer told me he received it

I ship quite a few coins this way. I'd say close to 10% never get marked as "delivered". No clue if they even show as "in transit". Definitely an imperfect system but for what it's worth, I've yet to have any INR claims. I personally prefer it to stamps.
