Did you mean:

eBay changes shipping charges to "free". No way to appeal.

eBay changed USPS Priority Mail Bubble envelope shipping from $7.75 to free on one of my sold items today. Total loss (not for eBay, of course).

This is an ongoing problem, just had another seller friend reported the same issue.

With enough sellers reporting this and obvious monetary loss to eBay seller, this may end up in a class action lawsuit since the history of the changes by seller is recorded and there is no documented change of the shipping cost in the history of the item.

All the prongs for class action lawsuit present: number for claimants, monetary loss and eBay culpability 🙂

What is your thoughts, partners?

I've never had that happen to me.

Did you know that almost all (328 of of 334) of your listings show 'Free Shipping'?

You might want to revise, rather than post right now. Good luck!

Can you proove that you listed it for $X and then ebay changed it to free?

I see free shipping offered on everything that you sold today on this account.

Yes, the buyer can opt for Priority Flat Rate Envelope for 6.95, but who would do that if Free was only a day slower?

@relyoncomputer;

I looked at your list of sold items, and EVERYTHING you have sold in the last 3 months had free shipping on it. I looked at a cached page of your eBay store, dated last week Aug 11, 2020. Everything on the page had free shipping. Every single listing.

Why do you think eBay changed anything? Your listings appear to have always had free shipping.

You need to review the shipping charges on all of your listings and do a bulk edit if necessary.

Your listings show a choice between free standard shipping or 6.95 priority flat rate envelope.

I viewed the revision history on a few items and see changes were made to the shipping terms on August 10th or August 17th.
