eBay Send (ESUS) Tracking Update Fix?

So as a seller I have been using eBay Send for a while now, and I truly believe it was innovative from the perspective of shipping low cost/low risk items and very much appreciate the ability to ship this way for the items it supports.

However, from my customers perspective the experience is not great- while they receive a tracking number, they do not know how to track it.  The eBay tracking only ever shows tracking received.

There are actually multiple sites to track these items - and it seems to work well when you take the time to use them.  Trackmyshipment.co and parcelsapp.com work.  But why is this information not being ported into the eBay tracking system for the customers order?  Is this something that is being fixed?  When customers question the tracking I have to point them to these web sites, which look kind of suspect from the beginning...

As I would like to continue ramping using this shipping method I would like to understand if this is something being worked on by eBay.

Thanks.

eBay Send (ESUS) Tracking Update Fix?

There's currently no such thing called "eBay Send".  Technically there used to be, but the name of the service changed before it launched. The shipping service you're referring to is currently called eBay International Standard Delivery, also known as eISD.

eBay has not expressed any interest when sellers have provided feedback about the lacking tracking info that's displayed for eBay ISD shipments.

You already have great links for tracking ESUS numbers (this one is the one I prefer) so continue providing that to buyers when needed.

I ship a lot of international shipments using Asendia and I face the same tracking issue with a lack of info displaying through eBay. I've gotten into the habit of messaging buyers with the Asendia tracking link and letting them know that after the package is received in their country, they'll be able to find the local tracking number and service through that page. It's an extra step, but worth it for the cost savings.
